DG Smart Plan and my Android Phone

So let's talk about this spanking new gadget that in selling like hot cakes in the market lately. I have been listening to Andrew raving about it for the longest time and I can't believe it's here in Malaysia!

It's the Samsung Galaxy Nexus!!!

Don't you think it's prettttttyyyyy? If I were to use ANY Android phone from the DiGi website, it'll definitely be this!

I'm not much of a techie person but what attracted me is their new Android which has a cute name to it called the Ice Cream Sandwich! This new OS brings an entirely new look and feel to the Android market. I really like how their layouts are simple but at the same time, their animations makes everything feel alive.

I've been surveying around for the perfect phone plan to complement this pretty gadget and DiGi is offering the most affordable plan which is the DG Smart Plan 48 cause it provides rebate of RM15 for 2 years! Wheeeee, I think I might just try to con Andrew to buy this for me for uhhh.. my birthday in April. Can't wait!!

You're nothing short of my everything.

"OMG OMG OMG"
So that was the highlight of the entire proposal. To be honest, I cannot remember his proposal speech much as it was muffled by me crying. HAHA. But in the end, all went well and I'm engaged!!

So this is how my Valentine's day went:

He picked me up after work and the surprise dinner venue was none other than the KL Tower. Fancy!

Yes, by that time, we have already exchanged presents in the car because I'm a spoiler like that. I bought his present on that day itself and I cannot wait to show him!

The revolving view of the KL city really complement the dinner by Atmosphere 360.

After dinner, we had the longest drive home.. And no, the traffic wasn't clogged. It was him driving at a snail pace (40km/h) on the NPE highway and I was getting rather impatient but for the entire journey, he was going all reminiscing about our relationship journey and how we started, blablabla. 40 minutes later, we reached home (finally!) and as we were walking back to our house, and as I was opening a door, I got a huge whiff of hot air and this is what I came home to:

Yes, I will! :) :) :)

My last minute attempt to wrap up his present!

Gifts we pampered one another for an overrated occasion like this. Hehe!

Thanks for going all out for this proposal, honey. You couldn't have done it any better and you know it has always been you, through it all. Can't wait to spend the gazillion tomorrows with you!

Well, you know what Beyonce sang, if you liked it then you shoulda put a ring on it and you did! Hehe. *smoooch*

Oh yeah. Say hello to Louie! :D

Huff & puff, oh! Hello, 2012!

So it's the time of the year again, where I'll wrap the highlights of the year so here goes!

In 2011, I have…

1. Moved into our new house.

2. Graduated and attended my convocation! :)

3. Continued working in Nuffnang as a permanent staff and today marks my 13 month of being an employee! Look, ma! I can earn money! :D

3. Got to know my colleagues a whole lot better which became my closest bunch of friends.

4. Lost Louie and was found again after 14 days. Couldn't be anymore happier than that!

5. Was extremely homesick but my parents made it better by popping by KL once in every 2 months. Hehe!

6. Survived another year of being with Andrew. Hehe! Love you, honey!

So that's about it. I love what 2011 had in store for me and never once I'll regret the decisions I made, be it right or wrong. And just by taking a peek in 2012, I just can't wait to hop on board and make the best out of this roller coaster ride! Woohoo~

Happy new year! :) :)

Of my safe haven

I have been putting my hobby of reading aside for the longest time until Elaine plopped a book on my legs when I was painting my nails last night.

She knew that I have always been a huge fan of Nicholas Sparks so I read a few chapters after I painted my nails. I am now hooked.

Why did I ever stopped reading anyway? This is such a good read that I find it difficult to put the book down!

Of weekends and rollin' around.

Ever since I've started working, I'll always look forward to the weekends. These 2 days are always crucial for me. Shall I cook? Or bake?

Do I have any pending errands to run? Where shall I travel for food this week? Do I still have enough toiletries?

Now that I have a house I call my own, I'll always make sure it's clean and in order.

This week, I am gonna slackkkkkk and be prepared to have a panic attack on the weekdays. I need a part-time maid! (Andrew, are you reading this? *puppy eyes*)

So yeah. It's our 37th monthsary and I'm pulling my hair thinking of a nice restaurant to dine tonight!

You can't blame gravity for falling in love

It has been three years since Andrew and I were an item. Looking back, it seemed so difficult for both of us. We were young and we didn't know what we wanted in life. But one thing for sure, we both knew that we are here to stay in each other's life.

For our 3 years anniversary, we decided to make it simple and we both think it's best to not exchange gifts cause we're still saving up money to buy more furnitures for the house. So we had a simple dinner at Thai Thai. It's my third time dining there and I really like the ambience, and not forgetting their awesome tom yam soup! :)

Since we're not getting anything for each other this year, you know I wouldn't let him go that easy! I decided to tweak the anniversary tradition a bit. I found this couple survey online & I really wanted both of us to do it so we can go crazy laughing when we read back the next time. I'll be sharing this at the end of the blogpost!

Just a little shoutout to my confidante & my best friend:
You are really something, Mister. Never a time I was actually bored of you and you have always made it a duty for you to make me laugh even when I am feeling blue. I have never once regretted my decision to be with you and it amazes me that up till today, it still excites me just to know that I get to sleep in with you on a weekend, have a meal with you or just bumming around at home. Happy anniversary, my lover. To our many tomorrows and forever more.

An Explanation

Hi all,

I am blogging this on behalf of Andrew and I so I can explain to everybody once and for all.

Louie is my next most important thing in my life besides Andrew. He has really mould us into better people and as cliche as it sounds, Louie has also in a way, prepared Andrew and I to forsee all the responsiblities as parents in the future.

He is not just any ordinary dog. He's Louie, a dog with the most expressive facial expressions and lives practically like a human. He sleeps with us, he eats with us, you name it, he has done it. Louie meant the world to Andrew and I.

Losing him still seem kinda surreal to us and waking up everyday is a battle to me. It has been the 3rd day since he went missing and right now, I don't know what we should feel.

To those who understands how we feel, our tomorrows are going to be tough, but we believe we can overcome this. Never I have felt so heartbroken and the thought that I can't cuddle him to sleep & play fetch with him really saddens me to the core. However, time will heal our broken soul.

Losing Louie is a wake up call for both of us. It has made Andrew and I treasure each other more but there are times where we might beat ourselves with "if only" and "what if"...

Thanks for going viral on Facebook and Twitter, guys. And I guess I owe you guys a story...

Louie ran away from home at Andrew's house in Sri Damansara at around 9am last Sunday. We have been looking all over for him since. Louie's notice has gone viral on both FB and Twitter and from our end, we have distributed 500 flyers all around the neighbourhood.

We do have a few calls but the last call today kinda gave me a peace of mind. The last call informed us that Louie was being picked up by a golden Toyota Avanza at 10am and upon seeing our flyer, he called us immediately.

In my opinion, it wouldn't bum me out so much if I know he was picked up by someone but for the past 2 days, I kept worrying that he's out there, alone & scared.

I guess it's our cue to learn to move on. Again, our tomorrows are going to be a battle, and it's going to be our biggest obstable in life to date.

Thanks again for going viral. I wouldn't be better without the love and support from you guys.. Fate will bring Louie back to me and if it doesn't, Louie will have a better life because he's my tough puppy.

Thank you all. :)
