Of our 4th year & Krabi.

So the story behind this started when Sara started planning a getaway with Chung Wei sometime last year and they decided on a holiday in Krabi. So I thought to myself and realized that Andrew and I never went on a getaway and Krabi sounded fun so I googled for hotels in Krabi & I instantly fell in love! The beach, the resort, and not forgetting their currency in Baht... I was convinced.

We discussed about it and he was sold! So technically, Andrew and I have been anticipating for our getaway since last year and it still seem so surreal that we just came back from Krabi! Nonetheless, both of us needed the getaway & we had so much fun!

Day 1
We arrived Krabi around 1pm and we checked into our hotel, Bhu Nga Thani Resort & Spa. The hotel is located away in Railay Beach and in my opinion, getting in and out of the beach was quite a hassle as the only mode of transport was by boat.

We didn't do much the first day cause we were too late to join any water activities so we walked around Railay Beach and enjoyed the scenery.

Day 2
Andrew and I signed up for a full day package which includes island hopping and snorkelling.

Waiting for our transportation

Railay Beach

In the speedboat.

All aboard!

We found out that the monsoon season usually begins in May and true enough, there were occasional heavy rain throughout the day which means the waves were super strong that let's just say that a few of the passengers were sea sick and one of them was NOT ME. *looks away* :P

Bamboo Island.

Snorkeling. That's Andrew, btw. And he should thank me eternally for taking such an artistic shot of him. Hehe!

Phi Phi Lay Island

Mosquito Island

Snorkeling Part 2!

So the island hopping session ended at around 4pm, we proceeded to check into our 2nd hotel around Aonang, Phu Pi Maan Resort and Spa

I have to admit, after an entire day of island hopping, I was beyond tired and all I wanted to do was to order room service, tuck myself in bed and pig out while watching Tangled on TV. But then again, I thought to myself, if I lazed my evening away.. I will never forgive myself when I look back in 10 years.. so yeah.. Andrew and I made our way to Krabi Town and their night market.

Yummy quail eggs!

Andrew and I bought a little bit of everything from almost every stall (true story!) and we went back to the hotel to feast!

Ended day 2 with Chang beer. Bliss. :)
Day 3
We signed up for a half day kayaking experience. Okay, so the kayaking experience was something I was actually most looking forward to cause I've always wanted to do an activity with Andrew and you know... it can be a test to our teamwork as a couple. *jeng jeng jeng* WHICH, didn't ended very well cause I was mad tired after paddling the raft for 2 minutes. Haha. So Andrew took over the raft while I chucked my paddle away and enjoyed the scenery.

Attempting to kayak. :P
Sorry for making you kayak the entire time, hun. On the bright side, your biceps did look bigger after the se
ssion! :P :P
Mangrove forest

After kayaking, Andrew kept suggesting that we rented a scooter and explore along the Aonang beach. I didn't mind exploring Aonang but what pulled me back was the scooter experience. I mean, as much as I love Andrew with all my life.. the thought of me riding on the scooter with him made me jittery and nervous. What if I fall down midway? Or what if Andrew loses his balance & we topple over? Then my leg will have cuts and scars and I'm gonna be ugly forever! Noooo.. *wails* Okay, drama much! So anywayyyy...

We rented the scooter alright.. And after we strapped on our helmets, we went to explore!

Say hello to our pink scooter!
Evening came, we went back to the hotel, freshen up & strolled around Aonang Beach for dinner and massage.

Day 4
Didn't do much cause we had a flight to catch at noon so all we just roamed around Aonang Beach a bit more & we attempted finding Noppharat Thara Beach with just a map. Noppharat Thara Beach was nothing to shout about, but it's definitely cleaner & bigger than Aonang Beach.

Both of us really enjoyed this getaway and we were actually sad that our Krabi getaway has come to an end. I don't think I'll be returning Krabi anytime soon.. but it's really worth heading there & enjoy the simple things in life. It was nice to escape from busy KL and we're very much looking forward to our next getaway.

So where's the next destination? Phuket? Bali? Or Santorini for our honeymoon? We shall see. :)

Marvel’s The Avengers

The Avengers is gonna premiere next week!! ZOMG. The moment that we have been waiting for. I was actually anticipating to watch The Avengers since Captain America!

Okay, fine. I'm not much of a movie fanatic but who can ever resist Chris Evans as Captain America?

Just look at this!! Now let's take a moment to worship this B-E-A-UIFUL body. *ohmmm*
Hehe. Anyway, if I could create a new member for The Avengers team and I can join them to save the world, I would definitely want to have a space-time manipulation power which allows me to teleport, manipulate time & time travel.

I mean, wouldn't it be cool? I can actually pause time so my team can have more time to fight the villains and also, if they ever hurt anybody from our Avengers team, I can even teleport to the past and amend their mistakes!

Nuffnang is gonna have an exclusive premiere screening next week and do find out how to participate!

Wait for me, Captain!! Hehehehe.

Love is a serious mental disease.

So Andrew and I have this tradition where we celebrate our month-sary by going out on a date to a fancy restaurant and our pick for this month is Daorae Korean BBQ Restaurant.

Quiet ambience, I like!
I love how they have leg spaces. Kangkang mode: ON.
Andrew! :)

Finally! A funny face from Andrew. *tears of joy* (Story behind this is that Andrew claims that he doesn't know how to take pictures so whenever he is asked to pose, he will only do the passport pose. -.- )

Just look at their side dishes! :D
A must order for Andrew, bibimbap.
Chicken ginseng soup.
DIG IN!
We kinda over ordered and we had a difficult time finishing but fret not! Andrew always finishes everything. Hahaha.. But overall, I quite like the ambience and their service. Quite pricey.. but I'll definitely go back for their awesome service! :)

Macadamia cheese cake-d!

So Andrew and I finally met up with Voon Voon, Pei Yi and Gerald after 5 - 6 FFKs over a period of 6 months!

Can you imagine? We have been wanting to hang out with each other for the longest time but we didn't had time for each other just cause we're swamped with work and also, life.

It was good meeting up with them over lunch at Plan B and then we hopped over to Ben's for their awesome dessert.

It definitely was a good catch up. Can't wait for more! :)

A wayyy delayed outing! Hehe.

Home and about

So Andrew and I decided to pop by Brunei for a weekend last week just cause we can (okay, that was totally a lie, we went back solely because of wedding preparations) and it was awesome to be home. Most importantly, I now have a clearer direction of what I can have in my wedding and I'm turning into a bridezilla. D:

Anyhoo, random pictures! :D

My messy work station!

Jam I go through every single day. Pfft.

Jeng jeng jeng!!!

Hehe. Shower time for you, you smelly pup!
Best friend popped by KL for a visit last week! <3

I have a love hate relationship when I travel, true story.

Always busy playing with the iPad! :(

Asked Andrew to have a candid shot and this is what he did. How creative of him. -.-

Empty roads = LOVE.

Siblings.

So the story behind this is that Andrew woke up with a swollen eyelid and I just had to drive down to Tutong so I can laugh at him. Karma hurts like a bitch, honey. :*

Okay. End of post!
