Flawed Perfection

Make up has been part of my daily routine ever since I turned 18. It started with a little black eyeliner on my lower eyelid, followed by the upper eyelids.. then foundation was then introduced to me. So yeah, you get the picture! Call it peer pressure or what not, but I enjoy applying make up as it heightens my confidence and also, I look so much better, admit it! :P

So, I shall introduce the products I use!

1. Dr. G's bb cream with Sasa's foundation brush.

This is my first bb cream and it works perfectly. I have an oily combination skin and my skin doesn't usually do well with anything that has SPF but this bb cream has proved me wrong! It actually smoothens up my skin and my face doesn't go oily as fast as I thought it would be. On top of it all, the SPF works like magic that my face is actually a wee bit fairer than my body.

The foundation brush makes the bb cream application easy peasy! Just a few criss cross small strokes, the bb cream will even out by itself.

2. Bobbi Brown's gel eyeliner with Maybelline's eyeliner brush.

This gel eyeliner was introduced by Pei Yi and it is the best eyeliner that I've used. It actually stays and doesn't smudge even after 12 hours of application without any touch ups. I've been using it since the early 2009 and there's still so much left despite my daily application.

I use Maybelline's eyeliner brush to apply the gel eyeliner. Since I've spent a bomb on this gel eyeliner, I became stingy with the brush cause Bobbi Brown's eyeliner brush is actually more expensive than the gel eyeliner itself and it works just fine.

3. Body Shop's eyebrow pencil with Manicare's eyebrow brush.

I like to redefine my eyebrow so it stands out well with my eyeliner application.

4. Loreal's collagen's mascara.

This mascara actually lengthens my eyelash twice it's length. Works like magic!

5. Body Shop's blusher with Body Shop's blusher brush.

6. Body Shop's lipstick.

That's it! You must be wondering whether I am some kinda freak with the amount of make up I use but trust me, with experience, it only takes 10 minutes to apply! Enjoy. :)
